Meditation

Training the mind to be healthy and resilient is as important as training the body.

Thousands of studies have shown the many benefits of regular meditation, such as improving focus, preventing and relieving stress, enhancing kindness and intuition, and promoting relaxation and a sense of balance.

These behaviors are crucial in a work environment, as well as to our health, efficacy, and satisfaction is all areas of life.

This 8-week live-streaming course is designed to reduce stress and overwhelm while boosting resilience, empathy, and mindfulness. Our research, published in the journal Current Psychology, demonstrates the effectiveness of the Meditation Without Expectations™ program, which was tested at a Fortune 50 global company.

Bioenergy Essentials

Release tension, change the state of your mind and body in minutes with ancient practices and modern theories about life force energies. The meditative techniques for wellness and transformation are based on science and what works (it’s not that weird or woo-woo). Learn about high sense perception, somatic experiencing, breathing, visualization, and intention. Whether you’re curious or skeptical, this 8-week series may help unlock abilities you may not realize you have.

1+ hour up to 10-week sessions cover a variety of topics: lifestyle medicine, stress resilience, listening and compassionate communication, sabotage and behavior change, contemplative practices, healthy breathing, gratitude, bioenergy, and more. Each program is tailored to meet needs of specific audiences.

Our human instrument is capable of so much more than we think.
Our bodies, emotions, mental, and intuitive systems work in concert.
As we discover how to listen into their depths, great shifts occur.

Healing

Everyone experiences good times and bad. Sometimes really difficult situations seem to get stuck within us.

Many people sense the mental, emotional, or physical effects that are there. And realize that time does not heal all wounds.

Working together with self-discovery, deep empathy, and care are much more effective.

My advanced intuitive approach to support healing is built on 20,000+ hours of education and practice in life sciences, advanced meditation and yoga, somatic and coaching principles, and bio-energy field therapies.

My students say this is difficult to describe, and yet it works so well. We will talk, and experience healing that transcends words, deeply connected with our hearts and unconscious.

Yoga means to connect, integrate. The practices are ancient, evolving, and not just physical. By making this meditative art and play part of our lives, we become more present and aware of our body, mind, prana-qi-energy, their nature and patterns, which benefits ourselves and all those around us.

Yoga

I support advanced beginner and experienced yogis and teachers in…

  • Learning about energy (prana, qi) flows and how to use them effectively in poses.
  • Gaining insight into how our mind-body-heart systems work together.
  • Feeling more secure in achieving challenging poses (asana).
  • Gaining experience with physical and energetic best practices.

I teach mixed level and advanced yoga at four locations in Cincinnati, Ohio.

My work in sustainability has served organizations all over the world to become more aware and work together to develop and apply sound environmental science. This led thousands to change their mindsets and actions, transforming ‘business as usual’ into new paths that can benefit us all.

Sustainability

I entered the complex sustainability field almost 4 decades ago, inspired to save the natural world with other well-informed scientists, or at least slow down its destruction. I have loved this impactful work. I led environmental studies, developed new methods and trainings, and influenced legislation and innovation strategies with businesses, governments, universities, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). It has been a joy and an honor to publish dozens of papers across 5 scientific disciplines, chair numerous cross-sector committees, be elected and serve on international scientific Boards, and provide keynote addresses at global conferences.

My previous role as a Principal Scientist in Global Sustainability and Wellbeing for a huge global company gave me perspective and experience in how organizations can effectively support the healthy living and performance of employees, and meaningfully protect and restore our environment. Such efforts are not separate, and in fact, are vital.

I remain passionate about this field and have promised former colleagues to remain available as an expert advisor. I am excited to support well-founded innovations that reverse the course of ecosystem collapse, reduce pollution and climate change, and support responsible sourcing. Please contact me to discuss potential training or consulting engagements.
